The ministry launched a promotional campaign in the Republic of India that included announcements in one of the most prominent shopping malls in New Delhi, and on taxis in Mumbai. The campaign aims to highlight the heritage, tourist sites and diverse experiences offered by the Sultanate of Oman.

Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Government of India, held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Azzan Qassim Mohamed Al Busaidi, Under Secretary, Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, Sultanate of Oman and accompanying delegation on 21st August at New Delhi. The meeting aimed to boost tourism between the two nations, with productive discussions focusing on strengthening mutual understanding, fostering cultural ties, promoting people-to-people exchanges, and enhancing sustainable approaches and practices in tourism.
