TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1 : COCHIN - ARRIVAL & SIGHTSEEING

Arrive Cochin International Airport, meet and greet by our representative and and transfer to the hotel. Spent the afternoon with local sightseeing in and around Cochin - the Queen of Arabian Sea, this is one of the finest natural harbors in the World and was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, etc. Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. DAY 2 : COCHIN TO MUNNAR - TRANSFER AND STAY

After Breakfast, checkout and travel to Munnar, on the way visit waterfalls, spice plantations,tea gardens etc, Arrive Munnar and Check-in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Munnar

DAY 3 : MUNNAR DAY SIGHTSEEING

Morning depart to enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting Mattupetty Dam/Lake, Echo Point, Gundala Lake, Photo Point, Elephant Arrival Spot, Cinema Shooting Point, after lunch proceed to visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park – famous for Nilgiri Tahr(Wild goat), Anamudi Peak – South India’s Highest Peak, Tata Tea Museum, International Blossom(Hydel) Park. Overnight at the Hotel in Munnar.

DAY 4 : MUNNAR TO THEKKADY - TRANSFER & SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Thekkady , on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Thekkady. One of the world's most fascinating wildlife reserves. The Periyar wildlife sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick evergreen forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wildlife and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Sightseeing in Thekkady: Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary, Spice Plantation. DAY 5 : THEKKADY TO KUMARAKOM - TRANSFER & SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast proceed to Kumarakom ,Check in to the hotel on arrival. Kumarakom, the queen of Vembanad, is a ‘resort’ destination. This tiny village on the edge of Vembanad Lake was practically unknown till one Henry Baker purchased land from the erstwhile King of Travancore to build himself a grand home. Kumarakom, today is a maze of modern resorts and heritage-homes-cum-hotels spilling over the island’s bank. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is a must-visit with its numerous beautiful rivulets and waterways. The scenic Vembanad Lake surrounded by mangrove forests and paddy fields is one of the best places for bird viewing inside the sanctuary. A large population of feathered species along with a pleasant climate make it a great picnic spot. As Kumarakom is a popular backwater destination in Kerala, a houseboat cruise is a must-do activity for visitors. A boat cruise on the beautiful Vembanad lake is one of the best ways to enjoy birdwatching in the park. One can also enjoy wildlife photography at Pathiramanal - a small island on the lake. A little ahead of Kumarakom, you can visit the backwater town of Kottayam – packed with rubber plantations and majestic old churches. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kumarakom

DAY 6 : KUMARAKOM TO COCHIN - DEPARTURE

Check out from the resort and drive to Cochin airport. Board the flight to your onward destination feeling content about a wonderful holiday you spent in the “God’s Own Country”. Our services end after dropping you at Cochin airport.
