Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrival

   Welcome to the Sultanate of Oman. Upon arrival at Muscat International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you to relax after your journey or explore the nearby surroundings at your own pace. Overnight stay in Muscat.

2. Day 2

   Muscat city tour

   After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Muscat, a city where rich heritage meets modern elegance. Visit the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, renowned for its stunning Islamic architecture and one of the worlds largest Swarovski crystal chandeliers. Continue to the prestigious Royal Opera House Muscat, followed by a drive through the diplomatic quarter to Al Alam Palace, the ceremonial residence of His Majesty the Sultan, with photo stops at the historic Al Mirani and Al Jalali Forts. Explore the fascinating Bait Al Zubair Museum (or the National Museum if preferred) to gain insight into Omans culture and history before ending the day at the vibrant Muttrah Souq, one of the oldest traditional markets in Arabia. Overnight stay in Muscat.

3. Day 3

   Wadi Bani Khalid & Wahba Sands

   Following breakfast, travel towards the beautiful oasis of Wadi Bani Khalid, famous for its crystal-clear emerald pools surrounded by dramatic mountains. Enjoy time to swim, relax, or explore the scenic wadi. Continue into the golden dunes of Wahiba Sands, home to the Bedouin tribes of Oman. Experience an exciting 4WD dune bashing adventure, admire the spectacular desert landscapes, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before returning to Muscat in the evening. Overnight stay in Muscat.

4. Day 4

   Jebel Akhdar excursion

   After breakfast, journey to the majestic Jebel Akhdar (The Green Mountain), one of Oman's most spectacular mountain destinations. En route, pass through the historic town of Birkat Al Mouz, known for its ancient mud-brick houses and UNESCO-listed Falaj irrigation system. Continue by 4WD to Jebel Akhdar, where you will visit charming mountain villages, walk through traditional terrace farms growing pomegranates, roses, walnuts, and apricots (seasonal), and enjoy breathtaking panoramic viewpoints overlooking deep canyons and rugged mountain landscapes. Return to Muscat in the evening. Overnight stay in Muscat.

5. Day 5

   Departure

   Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. At the scheduled time, transfer to Muscat International Airport for your departure flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of Oman's rich culture, dramatic deserts, and stunning mountain scenery.
